Features

Software for Notation and Interpretation with MIDI playback directly or via USB.

Note input by mouse is implemented.

It isn't necessary to use different input modes. They are switched automatically.

The capacity of notes is 3700 notes/MB, only limited by ram size.

The note size is adjustable.

All symbols are played back.

Note printing on many printers is available.

Test for other Linux versions

Download the Ubuntu 32-bit version. Automatically it installs only temporarely. With it you can download and test MusicEdit. After shutdown of your computer nothing of Ubuntu or MusicEdit remains on your computer.

This test is also possible on Windows because all versions of MusicEdit work identically.

Installation of MusicEdit or eTecSim on Linux

Unpack the downloaded file into the home-folder. Then you can start MusicEdit.

For running MusicEdit, GTK2 must be installed.

Tip: Ubuntu is very easy to install.

Unpack the downloaded file to any place. Then you can start MusicEdit or eTecSim.
